Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Hagerstown, Maryland, 21742!

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

Hagerstown, MD | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Float between Med/Surg Telemetry and IMC units as part of a float pool assignment
• Provide direct patient care with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit assignment
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
• Adhere to floating policies in compliance with Joint Commission standards, including completing appropriate orientation to new units
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends as part of the scheduling requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent Epic EMR experience is required — must be documented at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience in a hospital setting
• Minimum 2+ years of IMC unit experience in a hospital setting — must be documented at time of submission
• Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers are not eligible
• Flu shot and 2-step PPD required — no exceptions
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted

• Experience managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Familiarity with Relias or Net Learning portal for completing compliance modules
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly across multiple unit types within a float pool setting

• Opportunity to expand clinical skills across both Med/Surg Telemetry and IMC environments within a structured float pool
• Floating is conducted in rotation with facility staff and in accordance with established clinical experience, supporting a safe and supported work environment
