Landscape Technician, Maintenance
Pay Rate: $19.50 - $21.00/hr. (based on experience)
We are seeking a motivated Landscape Technician, Maintenance to join our team. This entry-level role performs general landscape maintenance and installation tasks on residential and commercial properties. Under the guidance of a Crew Leader, the Landscape Technician, Maintenance supports daily work assignments and helps maintain the health, appearance, and cleanliness of client landscapes.

As a Landscape Technician, Maintenance, you will perform a wide range of physical outdoor tasks that enhance the beauty and functionality of client properties. - Team-Based Environment:
Works closely with crew members and leadership to complete all Landscape Technician, Maintenance duties efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns using walk-behind or riding mowers, edgers, and string trimmers
- Perform planting, mulching, weeding, watering, and soil preparation
- Assist with pruning shrubs, perennials, and small trees
- Rake leaves, remove debris, and maintain a clean job site
- Apply mulch and other landscape materials as directed
- Support seasonal clean-up tasks, including leaf removal and snow preparation (if applicable)
- Contribute to all landscape maintenance tasks expected of a Landscape Technician, Maintenance
- Safely operate landscaping equipment such as backpack blowers, trimmers, hand tools, and shears
- Load and unload tools, materials, and supplies
- Assist in basic tool cleaning and maintenance
- Support the Crew Leader by helping the team complete Landscape Technician, Maintenance duties efficiently
- Follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE
- Adhere to company policies, supervisor direction, and site-specific safety requirements
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents promptly
- Participate in safety briefings and crew meetings
- Maintain safe practices expected of a Landscape Technician, Maintenance
Additional Responsibilities May Be Assigned Based On Business Needs.
Experience & Qualifications – Landscape Technician, Maintenance- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Experience:
At least one year of prior landscape maintenance work experience required, specifically mowing - Licensing:
Valid driver's license preferred but not required - Skills:
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Reliability, punctuality, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Landscape Technician, Maintenance tasks
- Physical stamina, dexterity, and ability to work outdoors in all conditions
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Developing knowledge of plants, turf, and landscape materials
- Strong attendance, dependability, and teamwork
- Clear communication with crew members and supervisors
- Consistent adherence to safety standards and job site protocols
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (heavier loads team-assisted)
- Operation of landscaping equipment such as mowers, blowers, trimmers, and shovels
- Work performed outdoors in varying weather: heat, cold, rain, wind, and sun
- Exposure to noise, dust, pollen, and landscaping materials
- May work on uneven terrain, slopes, ladders, or near active traffic or construction zones
- Must be available for early start times, overtime, or weekend shifts as needed
