If you are an undergraduate student and have an interest in the pharmaceutical sciences, consider applying to the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PSC) Summer Research Program.
Summer interns earn $6,000 while working for eight weeks in a research laboratory with a faculty mentor. Interns have the opportunity to learn cutting‑edge research skills from faculty, post‑doctoral fellows, and current graduate students. Mentor assignments are based on the intern's interests and goals.
Applicants should be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have completed one year of undergraduate work with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and are interested in obtaining a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences
. Preference will be given to undergraduate sophomores and juniors, and students who have completed General Chemistry or Intro Biology, plus one advanced chemistry or biology course.
The PSC Summer Research Program application for summer 2026 will open on November 1, 2025. Completed applications will be due February 1, 2026
