POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Quality Manager – Corporate for ADDMAN’s Metals business serves as the enterprise quality leader for all Metals manufacturing sites, including Metal Additive and Precision Machining. This role is responsible for defining, standardizing, and governing ADDMAN’s Quality Management System (QMS) across all Metals facilities. Working through a dotted-line relationship with site Quality Managers, this role ensures consistent application of quality processes, tools, and systems while driving compliance, execution, and continuous improvement.

The Sr. Quality Manager provides oversight for enterprise audit readiness, contract compliance, product lifecycle quality, and customer-facing quality engagements. This position also acts as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams on quality matters and promotes a culture of proactive quality, risk-based thinking, and operational excellence.

This position requires U.S. person status in accordance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Serve as the Corporate Quality Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ADDMAN’s Metals business, ensuring alignment to customer, regulatory, and internal requirements across all sites.
  • Define, standardize, and govern enterprise-wide quality processes, tools, and procedures in partnership with site Quality Managers (dotted-line leadership).
  • Own the enterprise quality governance framework, including standardized KPIs (e.g., COPQ, escapes, audit performance) and conduct regular quality performance reviews.
  • Develop, standardize, and deploy Quality Management System (QMS) frameworks aligned with ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP requirements.
Compliance, Audit, and Risk Management
  • Lead enterprise audit strategy, including preparation, execution, follow-up, and closure for customer, registrar, and internal audits.
  • Ensure consistent application of risk-based thinking, product safety, traceability, counterfeit prevention, and customer flow-down requirements.
  • Develop and implement standardized internal audit programs.
Quality Improvement & Issue Resolution
  • Drive continuous improvement of site-level quality systems through structured assessments, standardization, and targeted support.
  • Provide hands-on support for critical quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions to accelerate execution timelines.
  • Ensure consistent and effective Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes across all facilities (8D, DMAIC, or equivalent).
  • Standardize and improve practices related to inspection, FAI, nonconformance management, MRB processes, and supplier quality.
  • Serve as the escalation point for critical customer quality issues.
  • Represent ADDMAN Metals in customer-facing quality engagements, including audits, escalations, and performance reviews.
  • Prepare and deliver data-driven reports and presentations to executive leadership.
  • Influence, coach, and support site Quality leaders without direct authority, building alignment and fostering a unified quality culture.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Expertise in aerospace and defense quality systems, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP.
  • Proven ability to design, standardize, and govern multi-site Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to drive alignment in a matrixed environment.
  • Confident customer-facing presence for audits, escalations, and performance communications.
  • Analytical, data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present effectively at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and ability to drive enterprise-level initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace or other high-regulation manufacturing environments.
  • Proven leadership experience in AS9100-certified organizations.
  • Strong experience leading customer and registrar audits.
  • Deep knowledge of AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001; NADCAP experience preferred.
  • Experience across the full product lifecycle (design, manufacturing, inspection, test).
  • Strong RCCA capability (8D, DMAIC, or equivalent).
