Principal Quality Technician – Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico
We are searching for the best talent for the Principal Quality Technician to be in Juarez Chih. Planta Salvarcar.
Responsibilities- Train associates and coworkers in manufacturing processes, system applications, measuring equipment, customer complaints, and other areas as required.
- Perform verifications for finished activities to address non‑conformities.
- May perform product release activities.
- Aid and execute investigations for non‑conformities, audit observations, CAPAs, and others.
- Analyze customer complaints.
- Collect and analyze data, generate and distribute reports for quality metrics, initiatives, and measurable plant performance.
- Maintain consumables inventories applicable to the department.
- Maintain quality records according to the Records Retention Schedule.
- Update and provide information such as quality records of the plant’s quality systems.
- Manage database administration for the department.
- Participate in the development of quality systems and processes.
- Aid quality engineers by providing support to production lines.
- Act as a coordinator when quality issues arise.
- Provide support to quality engineers in maintaining quality system documents.
- Comply with quality procedures, laws, and regulations of applicable markets.
- Comply with company regulations, local, state, and federal regulations, and with safety, hygiene, health and environment procedures and policies.
- Communicate business‑related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- For those supervising or managing staff, ensure subordinates follow all company guidelines related to health, safety, and environmental practices and that all required resources are available and in good condition.
- Ensure personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Minimum:
High School education or equivalent experience in a similar position. - More than 6 years of experience in a related position.
- English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
- Knowledge of QSR / ISO preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, data sheets, presentations, databases, etc.).
- Knowledge of quality engineering tools such as measuring systems analysis, basic statistical analysis, and others.
- ASQ Improvement Associate / Quality Auditor certifications desirable.
