Position: SENIOR EQUIPMENT ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (TEMPORARY 12 MONTHS)

Senior Equipment Engineering Technician (Temporary 12 Months)

Location: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico

Job Function: Quality |
Job Sub Function: Quality Control

Responsibilities
  • Daily oversight of improvement projects implemented on the production floor.
  • Provide support in validation engineering executions and improvement projects on manufacturing lines.
  • Oversee change management in production environments.
  • Provide support for tasks including the execution of validation protocols and the development of  formats for new equipment on production lines.
  • Support new line validation executions and improvements on existing lines.
  • Conduct technical presentations to visualize data and trends related to production processes during validation and stabilization phases.
  • Continuous support on new line change management and improvements on existing lines.
  • Communicate business-related problems or opportunities to the next level of management.
  • Follow all company guidelines related to health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent technical degree is required.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in the industry or currently pursuing a university degree; preferably with the ability to read and interpret technical documentation in English.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, CAD, Minitab, and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and/or Six Sigma is expected.
  • Certification or training in change management is preferred.
