Research Data Analyst
We are seeking a Research Data Analyst who will provide data analysis and related activities for various types of research projects and studies. The Research Data Analyst will contribute to ongoing development, maintenance, and use of a research data pipeline that collects and analyzes data. This position will be responsible for analyzing data for several projects, including the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC) Study, the Study of Latinos (SOL), an international hypertension initiative, and Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL).
Specific Duties & Responsibilities- Collect data and generate reports and models.
- Run models, analyze model results, and prepare reports on the analysis.
- Conduct analyses in support of the assigned research project or study.
- Conduct statistical analyses utilizing standard and statistical software packages.
- Design and prepare tables to illustrate analytic findings.
- Manage or contribute to entry of data in the assigned database.
- May engage in other research related responsibilities.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
- Actively collaborate with ARIC, SOL, and RTSL investigators regarding literature review and analysis design for papers, grants, and presentations.
- Assist with literature search and summarizing relevant literature (including literature on cardiometabolic diseases).
- Collaborate with statisticians at other ARIC Study and SOL Study research units, the Coordinating Center, and RTSL partners.
- Participate in regular seminars and meetings of the Johns Hopkins University research unit.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Three years of related experience.
- Knowledge and experience in cardiovascular research.
- Clinical experience (e.g., endocrinology, nephrology, cardiology).
