Postdoctoral Research Position
- Brain Organoid Development and Transcriptomics

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop next-generation brain organoid models to study neurodevelopmental disorders, utilizing cutting‑edge transcriptomic approaches to analyze cellular heterogeneity and developmental trajectories.
Technical Expertise- Brain organoid protocols and troubleshooting.
- Computational analysis of transcriptomic data.
- Advanced molecular biology techniques.
- Cell culture and microscopy.
The successful candidate will develop next-generation brain organoid models to study neurodevelopmental disorders, utilizing cutting‑edge transcriptomic approaches to analyze cellular heterogeneity and developmental trajectories.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in brain organoid culture and optimization.
- Demonstrated expertise in RNA sequencing, including single‑cell and bulk approaches.
- Strong track record in bioinformatics analysis of sequencing data.
- First‑author publications in peer‑reviewed journals.

Salary RangeThe referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
