Research Scientist, Research Analyst, Research Assistant/Associate
Salary Range
$57,978.00 – $94,498.00 annually (Hiring Range: $57,978.00 – $75,648.00 annually).
Job SummaryA Research Analyst I with continuous work review analyzes data and statistics in a city agency. The position does not involve supervisory duties and includes close supervision from a technical superior. Employees work a conventional workweek in an office with normal working conditions and minimal physical exertion.
Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with coursework in quantitative or research methods.
Experience: One year of experience collecting, compiling, and interpreting data, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Knowledge of basic research techniques and methodology.
- Knowledge of English usage, grammar, and writing techniques.
- Ability to collect, compile, verify, and review data and statistics.
- Ability to prepare data and statistical reports.
- Ability to speak and write effectively.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
