Research Scientist, Postdoctoral Research Fellow
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join a collaborative program focused on high-fidelity simulation and analysis of complex turbulent flows in engineering systems. The position offers the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge problems in fluid mechanics with access to world‑class computational resources.
Responsibilities- Conduct large-scale simulations of turbulent flows using state-of-the-art CFD methods.
- Perform advanced data analysis and develop physics-based models.
- Collaborate with experimental and computational teams across institutions.
- PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Strong expertise in computatuonal fluid dynamics and turbulent flows.
- Experience with scientific computing and data analysis.
- Experience with high-performance computing and GPU acceleration.
Salary range: $63,480 - $100,000. The referenced salary range is based on Johns Hopkins University’s good faith belief at the time of posting and may vary based on candidate qualifications and other factors.
