The Department of Physics is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on the growth of wide bandgap semiconductors, including cubic boron nitride. This experimental position involves research, data collection, and mentoring students.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Sample preparation, data collection, and analysis
- Manuscript preparation and presentation at meetings
- Mentoring undergraduate and graduate students
- Recording and maintaining experimental data
- Education: PhD in Physics or a closely related field
- Experience: At least 3 years of experimental research experience
- Skills:
- Hands‑on experience with crystal growth and characterization tools
- Laboratory equipment maintenance
- Academic writing and publication record
- Clear oral and written communication
- Attention to detail
