Research Associate, Research Assistant​/Associate, Biotech Research

Piper Clinical Solutions is seeking a Research Associate to support a well-known biotech organization out of the Baltimore, MD area. This role is a true R&D analytical role with a great team!

• Design, generate, and characterize recombinant proteins
• Perform mammalian cell culture, transient transfections, protein expressions, protein purifications, and micro pipetting in a GMP setting
• Perform ELISA assays and other cell-based assays
• Collect, analyze, and summarize data using statistical software programs
• Perform laboratory maintenance such as maintaining and calibrating equipment and ordering laboratory supplies
• Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks
• Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• 2+ years of experience working in a GMP or academic laboratory supporting assay development (PCR, ELISAs, etc..)
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, ELISA assays, formulations and micro pipetting
• Bachelor of Science in biological sciences and/or related field such as biology, chemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, etc.

• Salary: $52,000
  -66,000
  * depending on relevant experience*
