We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support our Flavor Research & Development team by preparing formulation samples, maintaining laboratory inventory, and ensuring efficient laboratory operations. This role works closely with Flavorists and the Sales team to produce high-quality customer samples while maintaining organization, quality standards, and laboratory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare formulation samples accurately and efficiently for customer requests.
  • Complete sample requests within established timelines to support customer and business needs.
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory raw materials and supplies, ensuring materials are properly stocked and organized.
  • Maintain and organize Research & Development formulation records and batch documentation through accurate monthly filing.
  • Support Flavorists with formulation preparation, laboratory projects, and other technical activities as needed.
  • Obtain required samples and verify Quality Control approval prior to shipment to customers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, including cleaning, drying, and storing laboratory glassware and equipment.
  • Properly dispose of expired samples and raw materials in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory documentation and ensuring compliance with internal quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 2-4 years of laboratory experience, preferably in food, flavor, beverage, chemical, or related industries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and accept constructive feedback.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday.
