Member Specialist

What You’ll Do

• Provide member service: assist customers, maintain checkout area, resolve issues, promote products.
• Guide members on self‑service technology.
• Process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations.
• Operate front‑end equipment such as cash registers.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and merchandise location.
• Arrange and organize merchandise, zone areas, and maintain a safe shopping environment.
• Review receipts, safeguard assets, and observe potential criminal activity per company policy.
• Maintain entrance and exit areas, keep documentation, and execute emergency response procedures.
• Train and mentor Member Frontline Services associates on processes, new technology, and program rollouts.
• Identify shrink and damages, and handle returns properly.
• Implement company policies, the Open Door Policy, and action plans for ethics and integrity.
• Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners.
• Build strong relationships, mentor others, and develop teamwork skills.
• Act with integrity, promote Walmart values, and maintain the highest standards of ethics and compliance.
• Serve customers and members, deliver results, and balance short‑ and long‑term priorities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
