What You'll Do

  • Provide member service, acknowledging members and identifying member needs, and providing guidance and support regarding self‑service technology.
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting the company’s products and services.
  • Assist management with supervising associates in assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, and training associates on processes and procedures.
  • Ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the Open Door Policy, participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching and evaluating associates.
  • Receive and stock supplies and merchandise, organize and maintain the sales floor, and complete paperwork logs and other required documentation.
  • Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and handling procedures, disposing hazardous materials, and correcting unsafe situations.
  • Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation per company policies, handle claims and returns, zone, stock, arrange and organize merchandise, set up displays, remove damaged goods, sign and price merchandise.
  • Identify shrink and damages, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
  • Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, product recalls and sanitation standards are followed.
  • Oversee picking and staging of club pick‑up orders throughout the day and ensure products are selected and staged per company policy.
  • Develop, communicate and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners, analyzing information, monitoring results, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Promote compliance with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity, explain and demonstrate guiding principles, and implement action plans.
  • Lead and participate in teams, using resources, information, tools, determining customer needs and business priorities, coordinating assignments, providing advice, feedback and support to ensure timelines and work quality.
  • Model and assist others in adapting to change or new challenges.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • At least 6 months retail experience and at least 6 months customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership experience supervising, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workload of others.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, and specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
