Summary
Senior Accountant – Mercy Medical Center. Responsible for preparing financial statements, optimizing revenue, analyzing inventory, and collaborating with pharmacy and oncology units.
Responsibilities- Prepare reports and data for monthly financial statements.
- Present and investigate opportunities for revenue optimization.
- Report progress on initiatives to optimize revenue and reduce expenses.
- Manage data related to monthly inventory reconciliation.
- Interface with and serve as liaison to Pharmacy data platforms.
- Work with physician enterprise unit to identify opportunities for oncology drug savings.
- Education and work experience:
- High school diploma or GED (or Bachelor's degree).
- Two years of accounting/audit experience.
- Analytical, communication, and technical skills; computer literate.

- Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Computer proficiency:
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Meditech, Epic, Performance Manager/Net Learning (if applicable). - English language proficiency: read, write, speak.
- Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
- Flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to function effectively as a team.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Other requirements:

- Computer proficiency:
USD $29.45/Hr.
Maximum SalaryUSD $48.59/Hr.
