Starbucks Clerk provides friendly, efficient, and high-quality service to customers in the in-store Starbucks café. This position is responsible for preparing and serving handcrafted beverages and food items according to Starbucks and Giant Food standards, while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The Starbucks Clerk ensures excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking accurate orders, and upholding all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.

• Prepare and serve a variety of Starbucks beverages and food items to company standards.
• Greeting customers warmly and delivering a positive, memorable experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area, including equipment, displays, and seating areas.
• Follow recipes, beverage preparation procedures, and food safety guidelines.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle payments responsibly.
• Support inventory management by restocking products and monitoring supply levels.
• Work collaboratively with team members and assist in training new staff as needed.
• Comply with all Starbucks and Giant Food policies, health, and safety regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in retail or food service
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must meet minimum age requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Fast-paced retail grocery store.
• Frequent interaction with customers and team members.
• May involve exposure to varying temperatures (e.g., near entrance or refrigerated areas).

Salary range is between $15.00 - $15.80 Hrly
