Sales Manager, Sales Engineer
Travel: Middle East, typically once or twice per month
An established UK-based manufacturer within the crane and lifting equipment sector is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow distributor and dealer relationships across the Middle East.
This role focuses on developing existing business and expanding the current market foothold. You will take ownership of a well‑established dealer network and an existing annual turnover of approximately £1.5–2 million, with responsibility for strengthening relationships and driving further growth across the region.
The position requires regular travel to the Middle East and a strong understanding of how sales and account management operate within this market.
The Role- Manage and develop established dealer and reseller relationships across the Middle East, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain
- Grow revenue across an existing £1.5–2m annual sales portfolio
- Act as the main commercial point of contact for regional partners
- Support dealers with product knowledge, commercial strategy, and customer engagement
- Identify and convert new opportunities through existing accounts and regional networks
- Work closely with internal engineering, sales, and aftersales teams to support customers effectively
- Attend customer meetings, site visits, and regional events as required
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and market feedback
- Represent the business professionally across all markets
- Proven experience working commercially in the Middle East
- Strong understanding of sales and account management practices specific to the region
- Willing and able to travel to the Middle East at least once per month
- Background in cranes, lifting equipment, heavy machinery, or industrial equipment
- Experience in sales or account management roles with revenue responsibility
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Confident engaging with distributors, senior stakeholders, and technical customers
- Able to work autonomously from a UK or European base
- Experience with in crane aftersales, service, or technical sales environments
- Previous responsibility for dealer or distributor networks
- Understanding of capital equipment and aftermarket sales cycles
- Exposure to multi-country or international sales structures
- Competitive base salary with performance-related commission
- Regular international travel
