Logistics Account Manager

Overview

We areseekinga talented and driven Logistics Account Manager. The Logistics Account Manager will be givenwarm inbound shipper prospectsthat are actively requesting rates and looking to move freight and will be their responsibility to close those Customer accounts, manage the relationships, and grow the amount of freight moving through Backhaulers LLC.

The Manager’s key responsibilities include:

• Working Customershipper accountsprovided by leadership
• Closingnew Customershipperrelationships
• Managing and growingexistingCustomeraccounts
• Identifying new lanes and freight opportunities
• Coordinating with operations to ensure smooth execution
• Actingas the primary point of contact for Customers

Successful applicants will:

• Have excellent communication and customer service skills to build andmaintainprofessional relationships
• Show strong account management skills with the ability to manage,retain, and grow client accounts
• Be comfortableinterfacing with account contactsbothon the phone and in-person meetings
• Be well organized,self-motivated, and accountable, showing ability todrive customer satisfaction through proactive, detail-oriented support
• Demonstrate strong interest inlogisticssalesandstartupoperations
• Be comfortable using technology and software tools related tologistics, CRM, and account management
• Have a desire to grow income through performance rather than commission.
• Logisticsor transportation industry experience is preferred but not required.

Manysales roles offer low base pay and unpredictable commissions.

The Manager’srole offers:

• Guaranteed base salary
• Warm inbound accounts
• Potential forsalary growth

In compliance with Marylandpaytransparency laws, the salary for this position isbetween $50,000 - $75,000
per yearand is eligible for overtime.

Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on skillsand experience. Backhaulers will increase the Manager’s salary in its discretion as the Manager grows accounts.
