Alliance Technical Group is on the lookout for an exceptional, sales‑driven individual to take on the pivotal role of Business Development Manager. The starting salary is $100K to $110K base annual salary plus a generous performance bonus of up to 80% and uncapped commission.
The successful candidate will oversee our Eastern territory and will need to travel frequently.
This role focuses on new business development and growing revenues in existing and newly assigned East Region territories. You will build a strategic market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships and project opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities- Identify, pursue, and close new clients who meet Alliance’s prospect profiles.
- Build relationships with new and existing customers in the territory.
- Meet and work with partners, consultants, and practices to actively listen to client needs.
- Attend local, regional, industry‑specific, and national trade shows to build brand awareness.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert on our products, services, and quality, and understand Alliance’s unique differentiators.
- Work with operations and technical experts to land all opportunities.
- Display the highest levels of ethics, determination, and a desire to win.
- Use provided tools, including Salesforce Enterprise, to effectively manage activities, tasks, follow‑up, and identify opportunities.
Education – Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, science, or a related field. Must be familiar with a CRM such as Salesforce Enterprise and with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience – Minimum three to five years of experience in direct sales, ideally in industrial, technical, or environmental/field services sales.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities – Superior customer‑service attitude and proven track record as a self‑starter with initiative, excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and written skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to make quality decisions. Must be willing to pass a background and drug screen and have a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements – Must be able to meet the physical demands of a typical office environment, including sitting, standing, and possible light lifting.
