RFP Analyst
As the RFP Analyst, you will manage, direct, facilitate, respond to, and complete both Request for Proposals and Request for Information documents submitted by Employee Benefit Representatives (sales) on behalf of Prospect Clients.
You will support all Life, Disability, Absence / Leave and Supplemental Health Products and coordinate with internal business partners including Distribution, Underwriting, Sales Support and Fulfillment.
How you will Contribute- Complete RFP questionnaires on or before due dates, responding with customized, accurate, persuasive responses, collaborating with SMEs, sales, and underwriting teams.
- Support the growth and increased functionality of the RFP Response database by completing annual comprehensive reviews, updating all responses, and adding new content on an ongoing basis.
- Increase visibility of the RFP Unit by participating in strategy and follow‑up calls, maintaining the RFP Unit page on The Source, and contributing to Field Talk Online.
- Proactively identify opportunities to offer solutions to customers by reaching out to SMEs and collaborating with underwriting and sales teams to position Sun Life offerings.
- BA/BS degree preferred or applicable industry‑specific experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and a responsive, service‑oriented professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective professional business relationships across all levels.
- Detail‑oriented, well organized, and capable of managing a high‑volume workload with competing demands.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of internal partners.
- Utilize technology to efficiently respond to RFP questionnaires and maintain high quality responses in the RFP database.
- Meet time service delivery standards.
- Ability to work with a diverse range of people.
- Develop and provide RFP responses that help differentiate Sun Life in the marketplace.
- Support the identification and development of best practices.
- Work effectively in a high volume, transaction‑oriented environment with a strong focus on details.
$65,900 - $98,900. Compensation is competitive nationwide and based on unique skills, experience, education, and geographic location. Eligible for discretionary annual incentive award based on performance.
