Job Description Summary
Field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in an assigned geography. Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role. As a Radioligand Therapy Oncology Specialist (RLT), you will drive demand, shape strategic business plans, and strengthen referral and treatment networks for prostate cancer care.
You will champion the RLT platform across diagnostic and therapeutic portfolios and collaborate with Medical Oncologists, Urologists, Nuclear Medicine specialists, and Radiation Oncologists to ensure patients receive the best possible outcomes.
- Owning business with prescribing and referring physicians, building relationships, and executing business plans for territories, including disease education, product value propositions, treatment protocols, and customer programs.
- Supporting product access, implementing competitive response strategies, maintaining and growing key relationships with account partners in line with target priorities, compliant with company policies.
- Developing and employing customized tools and strategies to engage HCP targets within territory accounts, delivering the clinical value proposition, and establishing RLT as the partner of choice in community hospitals, academic hospitals, and community oncology accounts.

- Communicating clearly and compellingly to customers, handling objections, and closing calls with a commitment to action to inspire behavioral change.
- Maintaining deep knowledge of the territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, product and clinical data, and anticipating environmental changes to optimize execution.
- Developing and executing a call plan to achieve goals, improving access and sales opportunities, and promoting a highly technical and innovative product portfolio to a sophisticated audience.
- Using sales data reporting tools to understand trends, combine with customer insights, and identify territory and customer growth opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4‑year college or university.
- 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similar industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the last 5 years.
- 1+ years of experience in oncology, urology, nuclear medicine, medical devices, or complex therapeutics.
- 1+ years of experience in prostate or buy‑and‑bill therapeutic experience within the last 5 years.
- Strong collaboration skills in a matrix environment, ability to communicate clinical product information, and a proven track record of consistent high performance.
- Self‑starter with analytical abilities to seek, prioritize, and apply relevant information, demonstrating ethical leadership and compliance with company policies and laws.
- Candidate must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border. Must be able to travel 60‑80% across a broad geography, drive or fly, and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Experience across therapeutic groups, disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Broad understanding of patient services, market access, buy and bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and medical calling on HCPs with sophisticated products or reimbursement pathways.
