Role Description The National Account Manager;
Telco Division is a full-time, on-site role based in Baltimore, MD, responsible for managing and growing strategic national accounts within the telecommunications sector. This position involves developing and executing account plans, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and identifying opportunities to expand PPC’s product and solution offerings. The National Account Manager will lead the sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation, collaborate with internal teams on pricing, product positioning, and service delivery, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
Day-to-day activities include regular customer meetings, developing proposals, monitoring market trends and competitive activity, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem resolution. The role also requires close coordination with operations, engineering, and customer service to support successful deployments and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in national account management, strategic sales planning, and relationship building with large telecom customers.
- Experience in the telecommunications, broadband, or network infrastructure industry, with familiarity in connectivity solutions, coaxial cable, and fiber products.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales reporting, and data analysis to support forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and marketing to deliver customer solutions.
- Proven capability to manage complex projects, prioritize multiple accounts, and meet revenue and growth targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites, industry events, and internal meetings.
