* Manage and grow an assigned book of existing customers through wallet share expansion and relationship development.
* Execute account plans focused on customer retention, service excellence, and incremental growth.
* Conduct regular customer visits, job-site meetings, and check-ins to understand customer needs and support ongoing projects.
* Partner closely with branch operations, inside sales, and customer support teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
* Collaborate with hunter-style Outside Sales Representatives to support the transition of newly acquired customers into managed accounts.
* Participate in joint customer calls and onboarding meetings to ensure a smooth handoff and strong customer experience.
* Identify selective new business opportunities through referrals, white space, and customer relationships.
* Align customers with manufacturer partners and vendor resources to support product education and project needs.
* Negotiate pricing and terms within established company guidelines and approval frameworks.
* Utilize CRM and sales tools to manage customer activity, pipeline visibility, and account documentation.
* Maintain working knowledge of products, programs, and market dynamics.
* Travel regularly within the assigned territory to support customer relationships.

What You'll Bring
* 1-3 years of experience in outside sales, account management, inside sales, or customer-facing roles.
* Experience in building materials, construction, wholesale distribution, or a related industry preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships and support account growth.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Comfort using CRM systems, sales technology, and data to manage activity and accounts.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
* Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
