Responsibilities- Identify, target, and win new business by influencing and working with HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment
- Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to accurately understand the clinical, organizational, and financial challenges and opportunities within target accounts
- Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high-priority prospects
- Coordinate, engage, and partner with multiple cross‑functional team members (i.e., Clinical Nurse Educators and Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience to customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by proactively anticipating and addressing HCP problems, needs and requests
- Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals and objectives utilizing KPIs, scaling of successes, and business problem solving
- Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, complex environment and work with HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment
- Partner cross‑functionally and remain highly adaptable in a launch context
- Develop strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action‑oriented objectives in accordance with territory and account level goals
- Build relationships: work with multiple stakeholders within the organization and external customers
- Influence: facilitate the execution of business plans that impact multiple accounts and gain buy‑in on responsibilities
- Teamwork: ability to work in a matrix environment
- 2‑3+ years demonstrated sales experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales with a successful track record of exceeding expectations
- HIV, Cardiovascular, Immunology experience preferred but not required
- High degree of interpersonal and persuasive communication skills
- Driven and motivated for growth in the role
- Must be able and willing to drive or operate a vehicle; driving is an essential function of this role
- Mobility: agreed upon flexibility to deploy, within 2 weeks, to a newly assigned territory for an extended period of time
- Must live close to a major airport and preferably have experience with extensive travel
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel up to 60%
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $170,000. Actual salary will vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
