Carlton Industrial Solutions is looking for an ambitious Territory Sales Manager to help manufacturers and industrial businesses improve safety, productivity, compliance, and performance through innovative weighing and automation solutions.
This is more than a sales job. You'll become a trusted advisor to customers who rely on accurate weighing systems to keep their operations running efficiently. From identifying automation opportunities to developing long-term service partnerships, you'll play a critical role in helping customers "Weigh Better".
What You'll Do- Grow and develop your assigned territory through strategic prospecting and relationship building.
- Sell industry‑leading industrial weighing equipment, automation solutions, and value‑added service programs.
- Partner closely with Operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience from first conversation through installation and ongoing support.
- Build lasting customer relationships based on trust, expertise, and results.
- Create and execute territory business plans that drive market share and revenue growth.
- Conduct consultative sales presentations focused on solving customer challenges, not simply selling equipment.
- Leverage CRM tools and sales analytics to effectively manage your pipeline and achieve sales goals.
- Represent Carlton Industrial Solutions at customer sites, trade events, and industry organizations.
- A self‑starter who enjoys hunting for new business while growing existing accounts.
- Naturally curious with a consultative approach to sales.
- Organized, disciplined, and committed to following through.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where customer service matters.
- Passionate about building long‑term relationships.
Preferred Experience
- Territory sales or outside sales experience (required)
- Industrial equipment, weighing systems, automation, or electromechanical equipment sales (preferred)
- Account management experience
- CRM experience
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Travel:
Approximately 25% throughout the Mid‑Atlantic region (with occasional travel throughout Carlton's growing footprint).
