We are seeking a CARD Health & Science Professional (HSP) to promote therapies for NVAF or VTE patients and increase sales within assigned territory.
Role SummaryThe CARD HSP is responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and developing strategy to manage business within the territory. The role requires strong product knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to engage customers both in person and virtually while working remotely with cross‑functional teams.
Role Responsibilities- Drive sales in assigned territory.
- Engage with customers face‑to‑face and virtually.
- Develop and implement business and territory call plans.
- Execute live/virtual engagement strategies to maximize effectiveness.
- Build rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments.
- Utilize digital tools to maintain customer engagement.
- Analyze internal reports and analytics to identify strategic business opportunities.
- Educate providers on unbranded and branded product value proposition using approved disease‑state information.
- Collaborate across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Complete administrative expectations on time and in compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following OR an associate’s degree with 6+ years; OR high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience:
- Professional Sales or Promotional Activity
- Small Business Owner or entrepreneurial experience, Marketing, Customer Service, or Account Management
- Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles (RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT, etc.)
- Educator (Teacher, Principal)
- Full Time Military experience
- Resident within 25 miles of the territory border.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with compliant driving record.
- No DUI/DWI or other impaired‑driving citation within the past 7 years.
- 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical‑sales, or medical‑marketing experience.
- Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management, communication, teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Experience with relevant disease states, therapeutic area, and products.
- Knowledge of territory customers and markets (prescribers, HCPs, institutions, organizations).
- Residency within territory boundaries.
Territory includes:
Rockville, Potomac, Bethesda & Herndon, VA;
Reston, VA;
Sterling, VA;
McLean, VA. Last Date to Apply:

Annual base salary: $76,000 – $199,600. Initial training class is non‑exempt with overtime pay; after certification becomes exempt. Additional quarterly Sales Incentive bonus available. Comprehensive benefits: 401(k) with Pfizer matching and retirement contribution; paid vacation, holiday, and personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. Relocation assistance may be available.
