Role Summary
The CARD Health & Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for increasing territory sales and developing relationships with assigned customers and accounts. The role involves engaging in product promotion, determining optimal strategies to manage business, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Role Responsibilities- Drive sales in the assigned territory.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Professional Sales or Promotional Activity, Small Business Owner/Entrepreneurial experience, or relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles; alternatively associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Must live within 25 miles of the territory border.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a compliant driving record.
- 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales and/or marketing experience.
- Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, and outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with applicable disease states and therapeutic areas.
- Knowledge of the territory’s customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions).
- Reside within the territory boundaries.
- Territory includes:
Rockville, Potomac, Bethesda, Herndon, VA;
Reston, VA;
Sterling, VA;

The annual base salary ranges from $76,000 to $199,600. During initial new‑hire sales training, the position is classified as a salary non‑exempt employee eligible for overtime pay; upon training certification, the employee becomes an overtime exempt position. A quarterly sales incentive bonus is also offered.
