Regional Sales Manager – Baltimore, Washington, DC & Northern VA
Job SummaryThis position is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals in the assigned territory by establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with key prospects and current customers to generate new business for the organization. It requires a consultative sales approach to various customers, including doctors, nurses, referral coordinators, and assistants, to promote and sell AIC’s Ig pharmacy infusion services. The role involves collaborating with the VP of Sales to recommend and strategize target accounts, while also performing traditional prospecting, cold calling and follow‑up on company‑generated sales leads.
It is an executive field‑based sales position with no direct reports; it is a full individual contributor sales role.
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with key prospects and current customers to generate new business.
- Adopt a consultative sales approach to doctors, nurses, referral coordinators, and assistants.
- Recommend and strategize target accounts with the VP of Sales, and conduct prospecting, cold calling, and follow‑up on company‑generated leads.
- Travel throughout the territory, which includes Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern VA, to meet with physician offices.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2–4 years related experience and/or training.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven ability to exceed sales goals in medical device, tissue, pharma, specialty pharmacy, or B2B product sales.
- Preferred experience in calling points such as neurology, allergy/immunology, pulmonary, transplant, and rheumatology.
- Preferred that candidates have an existing book of relationships in the neurology/immunology field.
Targeted compensation: $200,000+ which includes payment for each new patient start as well as residual monthly grams.
