Aviation Sales Career Opportunity
This is a fantastic sales career opportunity for a client-facing professional in the aviation sector, located in the Mid-Atlantic Region (NC, SC, VA, WV, DC, MD, DE).
The remote and in-the-field role is open due to the current rep moving into a new territory internally.
The firm now needs to hire a relationship-driven aviation professional who will manage and grow business relationships with business operators (FBOs) in the aviation market. There are over 100 existing accounts to sell into, with growth potential.
When you are not making calls or connecting with prospects virtually, you would travel to visit customers on-site, attend events, lunches, and trainings. Expect ~20% overnight travel.
The company offers hands-on training (visits to HQ, ride-alongs), strong values/reputation, tenured leadership, as well as promotion and income growth opportunities.
The qualifications required are:
- 3+ years of client-facing experience in the aviation industry
- Experience selling to customers face-to-face within a territory (on-site visits, lunches, trade shows, and/or events, etc.)
- Able to research leads, close new business, and maintain customer relationships
- Self-motivated, comfortable working remotely or from home when not in the field
- MUST be located in either NC, SC, VA, WV, DC, MD, or DE close to a major airport
- Able to travel 20% to visit customers and attend events/trainings
