Sales Representative / Account Manager
The Sales Representative / Account Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities within the office and industrial, national account household goods, and specialty logistics markets.
This individual proactively builds relationships with prospective clients, assesses customer needs, and presents customized moving and logistics solutions. Working closely with operations and customer service teams, the Sales Representative ensures a seamless customer experience from initial contact through project completion while developing long-term client relationships.
Success in this role requires strong business development skills, a consultative sales approach, exceptional relationship-building abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business through networking, referrals, purchased leads, industry contacts, and market research.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Develop relationships with HR professionals, facilities managers, property managers, procurement leaders, and other decision-makers.
- Schedule and conduct sales presentations, client meetings, and networking events.
- Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
- Conduct customer walkthroughs to evaluate relocation and logistics requirements.
- Recommend customized moving, storage, packing, crating, and logistics solutions.
- Prepare accurate estimates for transportation, packing, storage, shipping, and delivery services.
- Develop written proposals, move plans, pricing, and contracts.
- Present customized solutions that align with customer objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
- Serve as the primary liaison between corporate clients, transferees, and internal operations teams.
- Monitor project progress to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.
- Resolve service concerns promptly and professionally.
- Respond to customer inquiries within established service standards.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and customer account information.
- Complete contracts, proposals, and required sales documentation.
- Manage contract renewals and customer requests.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports.
- Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in industry associations, networking events, and community organizations to strengthen market presence.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company services, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
- Collaborate with operations and internal teams to promote a team-first approach and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

- Ability to build relationships with executives, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proven success developing new business while growing existing accounts.
- Ability to quickly learn service offerings, industry trends, and competitive solutions.
- Understanding of transportation, logistics, warehousing, direct sales, and market analysis is preferred.
- Ability to understand operational aspects of the moving process, including staffing, equipment, scheduling, and logistics.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
- Professional presence with exceptional attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% by car and air as needed.
