Specification Sales Associate

Lighting Environments & Environments is seeking a Specification Sales Associate to support the growth of our lighting, controls, and smart building solutions in the construction market. In this role, you will build relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors, driving specification-based sales for architectural, commercial, and smart building projects. You will collaborate closely with our design and technology teams to support project design, quoting, and bidding, while staying current on innovative products and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and distributors for lighting and controls projects
• Support project specification, quoting, and bid processes for construction, renovation, and retrofit work
• Collaborate with internal design, controls, and technology teams to deliver integrated building solutions
• Present product solutions, smart building technologies, and value propositions to clients
• Track projects through the construction cycle, from design through installation and commissioning
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lighting, controls, and smart building products and trends
• Prepare sales proposals, pricing, and documentation with accuracy and timeliness
• Provide responsive customer service and technical support to assigned accounts
• Meet or exceed sales targets, pipeline goals, and activity metrics
• Use CRM tools to manage opportunities, forecast sales, and report on project status
