Security Officer | Full-Time

Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.

Canopy by Hilton Baltimore Harbor Point is seeking a dependable, professional, and service-focused Security Officer to help deliver Hilton’s vision: “To fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality.”

This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and hotel property.

• Monitor the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property.
• Conduct routine patrols throughout the hotel and public areas.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies and guest concerns.
• Escort guests or team members when necessary.
• Assist with overnight guest requests, room deliveries, and support calls.
• Monitor surveillance systems and maintain security equipment per hotel standards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, injuries, or disturbances and complete required reports.
• Identify and address safety hazards or policy violations.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed.
• Complete daily shift activity and incident reports accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and protocols.
• Support a positive guest experience while enforcing hotel safety standards.

• Previous security experience required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Team members are expected to follow all hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
• Hospitality is a 24/7 business, and schedules may vary based on operational needs.
• Candidates should be reliable, professional, and committed to exceptional guest service.
