Schedule: 7 AM - 7 PM Saturday, Sunday, and holidays;
Part‑time, On‑site.

We Catholic Charities of Baltimore are seeking a Program Assistant to provide security to the facility by inspecting persons and property of visitors and clients prior to entrance, conduct ongoing security checks, and provide services to guests in a dignified manner. The assistant will maintain a safe and secure environment, monitor compliance, report incidents, and handle emergency situations.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment inside and outside properties for clients, staff, volunteers and visitors.
• Monitor compliance with policies; report incidents, write violations, and intervene in emergencies.
• Assist with orientation of residents and volunteers; observe behaviors and report to supervisor.
• Maintain logs and files related to various programs; record entries accurately.
• Monitor building activity to ensure safety, security and policy compliance.
• React to emergency situations appropriately and professionally.

• One year of related experience, preferably working with homeless or at‑risk populations.
• Physical capability to move throughout the building and grounds, including stairs, and lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand 90% of the shift and work in outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

• CPR and/or First Aid certification within six months of employment.
• Serv Safe® (ODB, Sarah’s House and WHRC – 402000) within six months of employment.
