Job Description
Security Officer
Wage: $18.00 per hour
Requirement: Valid TWIC
Available Schedules:
- Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Wednesday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Monitor and control access to the site
- Record and log all visitors entering the facility
- Operate entry points, including moving cones to allow access for visitors, employees, etc.
- Perform regular standing and walking throughout the shift
- Basic computer skills
- Minimum of 2+ years of security experience required
- TWIC card required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to remain alert, professional, and responsive in a security environment
- Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
- Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
- Security positions are full and part time
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Security positions require drug screen and background check
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
