Precise Systems is a solutions-based company focused on innovation in support of the warfighters, offering expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs across Digital Transformation, Advanced Engineering, Physical Sciences Research, Platform Lifecycle Support, and Technical Services. We seek a Logistics Analyst to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The Logistics Analyst will provide Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case support to the PMA-280 FMS Team.
Responsibilities- Support the Case Manager, Program Managers, and Team Lead for various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, analyzing and managing all aspects of FMS casework in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), as well as applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance.
- With the Security Cooperation team, assist in establishing and documenting FMS cases, including MILS/DLMS and MILSTRIP documents, assignment of new requisitions, development of project directives, processing of purchase requisitions, and participating in acquisition planning for new or advanced systems.
- Support Pre-Case and Case Implementation Product Support to define spares, publications, sanitization, training, and software support requirements.
- Provide logistics expertise to review and analyze FMS requests for warranty and defect determination.
- Evaluate maintenance concepts, maintenance systems, engineering requirements, support equipment, and other resource requirements; assess applicability and commonality of existing resources to support the system and related equipment.
- Evaluate and track retrofit kit delivery schedules, Reports of Discrepancies (RODs), incident reports, and subsystem obsolescence to identify product availability for potential FMS customers.
- Investigate and coordinate transportation requirements to ensure appropriate lead times for freight forwarders, co-production FMS manufacturers, or staging areas for modifications or kitting facilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Three (3) to ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- AA/AS degree in Program Management, Technical, or Business Analysis discipline. A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently.
- Experience related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management. Working knowledge of DoD SAP policies and procedures relating to FMS. Experience identifying programmatic requirements for FMS agreements and responding to Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA), Price and Availability (P&A), Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Proposal (RFP).
- Hybrid work may be available; travel and in-office/on-site support may be required based on customer requirements, project demands, or business needs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance preferred, or ability to obtain. U.S. Citizenship is required due to security requirements.

Salary range for this position is $68,952.32 - $ (annualized USD). This range is one component of the total compensation package.
