The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) seeks entry‑level Correctional Officer I to begin a career in Maryland's corrections system. You will complete a state‑certified training program, exercise care, custody and control over inmates, and support safety in housing units and work areas.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be fluent in English, and pass a background check, interview and fitness tests.
