As a Security Officer Unarmed Hospital Site Patrol in Baltimore, MD
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, reliability, integrity, and an agile approach to evolving needs.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical-support requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific requirements, assisting with directions and access‑related questions as needed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
