Overnight Security Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and attentive Overnight Security Officer to join our team at a healthcare facility located in Baltimore, MD, dedicated to providing high-quality care and services to our patients and residents. As an Overnight Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment during overnight hours. If you are a detail-oriented and professional individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
There will be full-time and part-time hours available.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the main lobby and facility entrance throughout the overnight shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
- Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility
- Verify visitors and individuals entering the facility in accordance with established procedures
- Monitor security cameras and building activity
- Maintain accurate visitor and security logs
- Remain alert and attentive to activity inside and around the facility entrance
- Address unauthorized access or security concerns appropriately
- Follow established security and emergency procedures
- Notify appropriate management or emergency personnel of security concerns or incidents
- Maintain a professional and courteous presence in the lobby
- Report safety, security, or facility concerns to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout an overnight shift
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with visitors and security concerns
- Ability to follow established security procedures
- Previous security or access-control experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
