** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

+ Screen personnel and visitors entering the facility using established procedures, including verification of credentials, review of authorized access, and inspection of permitted items as applicable.

+ Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and access-control systems; report suspicious activity, prohibited items, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and emergency response procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and support a professional environment.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Must be 21 years of age or older

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
