Overview
Our customer is looking to add a commercial service technician with strong fire experience to their team as they continue to grow the footprint in MD. The technician will receive their service call schedule a week in advance and typically sees an average of 4 tickets per day. Calls range in time, some could be an hour, some could last a day or two.
The technician will be given the use of a company vehicle. They need to have experience troubleshooting and solving problems on a variety of security equipment.
Strat works with equipment such as , DMP, DSC (832, 1832, Alexor Panel, Impassa, Neo, Qolsys Panel, Bosch Keypad (B930), Honeywell, Concord, Vista and any others is a plus. Also experience with motion sensors, door locks, glass break, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide. In addition, if they have fire experience that would be great, not necessary, they can be trained on these panels.
Silent Knight (6808, 6820), Potter AFC (1000, 100, IPA 60, IPA 100, IPA 4000V).
Knowledge of how these systems work, how they are set up, and knowledge of and other systems will provide exactly what Strat Security needs.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and problem-solve a variety of security equipment and fire alarm systems.
- Respond to service calls and manage schedules (average ~4 tickets per day).
- Utilize a company vehicle for service appointments.
- Install, configure, and maintain systems including , DMP, DSC panels and related devices.
- Work with motion sensors, door locks, glass break, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Understand and apply knowledge of how these systems operate, how they are set up, and integration with and other platforms.
- Experience with CCTV, Access control, Security, Cabling, Cable, Alarm systems, Honeywell, , DMP, DSC, Low voltage, Cat5, Cat6, Electrical, Alarms, fire alarm system, Fire alarm, Alarm installation, Security system.
- Customer service orientation; technical service, troubleshooting; SLA and ticketing system experience.

- Additional skills and qualifications:
Fire Experience (top skill);

Contract to Hire, Baltimore, MD (onsite).
- Pay range: $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
