Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Coordinate with vendors and contractors when necessary
Assist with facility improvements and special projects
High school diploma or GED required
Technical certification or vocational training preferred
2+ years of maintenance experience (industrial, commercial, or residential)
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills for work order systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Experience with preventive maintenance programs
Welding or fabrication experience
PLC troubleshooting knowledge
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
May work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and loud environments
May require on-call hours, overtime, or weekend work
