McLean Contracting Company is looking to hire experienced heavy equipment mechanics to join our service team in the Baltimore, MD and Chesapeake, VA regions.
Selected candidates will work on a wide range of equipment from marine cranes, piledriving equipment and marine to land fleet cranes, along with other mobile equipment. Ideal candidates will possess 5+ years of relevant experience, and a strong ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make the necessary repairs to heavy construction equipment with little supervision.
- Marine diesel repairs – ABYC Certifications a plus
- Ability to read/ interpret electrical schematics.
- Experience with marine electrical systems.
- Ability to read/ interpret hydraulic schematics.
- Experience with repairing hydraulic systems (pumps, motors, actuators, etc…)
- Crane repair, erection/disassembly – CCO license a plus
- Strong knowledge of friction cranes and Liebherr duty cycle cranes a plus.
