Finish And Trim Technician

Overview

We are looking for a motivated Finish and Trim Technician to join our company. Finish and Trim Technicians travel to various service calls throughout the four-state area (WV, VA, MD, and PA). Each day varies as we provide service and installation of new products and services. You will interact with customers daily across our service areas.

Job Overview:

As a Finish and Trim Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of installing company products according to work orders, manufacturer, quality, and safety guidelines. Finish carpentry and products include garage doors, exterior and front doors, awnings, screens, and any other products sold by the company.

To succeed in this role, you must be organized, efficient, and have practical problem-solving skills. You will be interacting with customers daily, and patient and respectful behavior is a must as you represent our company.

• Review daily work schedule and ensure the truck is loaded with all products, tools, and equipment for the day.
• Install and service company products according to work orders and safety guidelines (garage doors, exterior and front doors, awnings, screens).
• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections, safely unload and stage materials at the job site.
• Report safety, customer, or quality concerns; perform warehouse-related duties as required.

• GED, high school diploma, or suitable equivalent.
• Experience in garage door installation and/or service (commercial or residential) is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of computer and tablet use; familiarity with Google search and navigation systems is a plus; knowledge of Service Titan is a plus.
• Knowledge of hand tools and mechanical tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; able to climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, stand, and use ladders as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company truck.
