Field/Service Technician, Installation Technician

Our Concrete division is a start up company that has developed and supplies unique technology that measures entrained air content in concrete traveling from batch plant to job-site.
The Field Service Technician provides installation, maintenance and training support for CiDRA products to customers and channel partners alike. They must demonstrate knowledge of CiDRA products and be able to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in the field while maintaining the highest level of safety and professionalism. The Field Technician must be flexible with their time and willing to adapt to customer needs in order to maintain customer satisfaction.
Upon training and understanding of CiDRA products, they must be able to provide a technical explanation of the product and perform basic field operations and maintenance safely.
The Mid-Atlantic territory spans from the PA border across to Delaware, through Virginia and into the northern section of North Carolina, with most customers being based in the Baltimore/DC area.
Job Functions and Requirements:- Work with customers, CiDRA engineers, service technicians, and sales team members, including sales representatives and distributors to provide installation and maintenance services related to CiDRA technologies.
- Work with customers, CiDRA engineers, service technicians, and business development team members to provide application and services, field trials and/or demonstrations at customer sites.
- Provide presales technical support to help the CiDRA engineering and business development teams to interpret customer requirements, determine the suitability of CiDRA equipment and / or services for the application.
- As required, provide technical training to customers or in‑house personnel.
- Function as the main focal point for technical questions, customer support requests and coordination of unresolved customer application issues in assigned area or locale.
- Maintain higher‑level expertise for CiDRA products and their application in the markets / industries that we serve.
- Complete required company and customer documentation, writing reports as required.
- Achieve prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints and problems.
- Maintain and value a “safety first” attitude and practice
Experience installing and servicing electrical, vehicular, or mechanical equipment required, such as a mobile mechanic, service technician, or installer. Prior Concrete industry experience preferred but not required.
Education/Skills we’re seeking:- Associates Degree or trade certification from a technical school or Military Experience as a technician a plus
- Experience installing and servicing electrical, vehicular, or mechanical equipment
- Ability to diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions
- ACI Concrete Field Service Technician
- Level 1 certification a plus - Ability to properly operate and maintain hand and power tools
- Must be able to commit 40-50% of time to travel
