Skilled Concrete Laborer

Location: Annapolis, MD

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Pay: $30.06/hr

Job Description

We are seeking two skilled Concrete Laborers to join our dynamic team. The initial project will be at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, with additional job sites located in Baltimore County/City, Anne Arundel County, Howard County, and Frederick County.

Responsibilities
  • Set up the job site efficiently and ensure all necessary materials and tools are prepared.
  • Break down and clean the job site after work is completed, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Tie rebar with precision and accuracy according to project specifications.
  • Patch concrete to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Build forms for concrete pouring, ensuring stability and accuracy.
  • Mix concrete to the required consistency and specifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, or other supervisory personnel.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in concrete, asphalt, trench digging, formwork, and rebar.
  • 3+ years of construction labor experience, preferably in concrete-related projects.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in asphalt, utility, and site work.
  • Proficiency with jackhammer and concrete finishing.
  • Any additional construction experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Work will primarily be conducted at the Naval Academy, with potential assignments at other locations within Maryland. The work environment is dynamic and requires travel between job sites, offering a variety of challenges and learning opportunities.
