Position

Electrical Maintenance Technician (Industrial Terminal Operations)

Location & Compensation

Location:

Baltimore, MD. Base pay: $44.84/hr, with built‑in overtime and monthly‑quarterly bonus opportunities. Typical annual earnings: $110,000–$120,000+.

Schedule

DuPont rotating 12‑hour schedule (Day & Night shifts). The schedule averages 15 workdays and 15 days off per month, with one full week off every four weeks. No more than 4 consecutive workdays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Install and repair electrical components on conveyors, motors, and material‑handling equipment.
  • Build and repair electrical control panels.
  • Bend conduit and install wiring for 220V and 480V systems.
  • Troubleshoot PLC‑controlled equipment and automated systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Maintain AC/DC motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
  • Support equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting 220V/480V electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Experience with PLCs and ladder‑logic troubleshooting.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
  • Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in industrial environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Journeyman or Master electrician license.
  • Experience in bulk material handling, terminals, mining, power generation, steel, cement, or heavy manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with conveyors, motors, drives, and power distribution systems.
  • Preventative maintenance experience.
