Equipment Operator

As the Installation Technician II – Matting Solutions, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. You will work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold environments.

• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, and conduct pre‑ and post‑equipment inspections, documenting results in compliance with company policies.
• Participate in routine maintenance such as greasing and other small repair tasks, ensuring equipment is stored safely and securely.
• Operate all heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain daily logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and other relevant data.
• Communicate effectively with all site personnel and maintain workplace safety standards.
• Understand ground signals and maintain constant eye contact with ground personnel when operating.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write fluently in English.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 1‑3 years of experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment on large construction projects.
• Ability to operate equipment independently and self‑directed with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of safety hazards on construction projects and inspection principles and techniques.
• Skill in reading and interpreting access and construction plans.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel out of town during the week or on weekends and work extensive overtime.

Compensation Range: $23.55 - $33.90.
