Role overview

Core responsibilities
Provide electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, installations, and preventive maintenance.
Build/repair control panels; bend conduit; wire 220/480V systems; maintain power distribution.
Support AC/DC motors and drives, PLC controls, and sensors (limit and proximity).Install and repair electrical components on industrial machinery in accordance with code, manuals, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
Apply electrical trade methods and tools, including ladder logic, to reduce downtime.
Conduct safety inspections and follow OSHA standards: LOTO, confined space, fall protection, hot work, mobile equipment, and PPE.Cross-train and safely operate loaders, dozers, locomotives, and cranes to facilitate transshipment.

Required qualifications
Minimum 3 years as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industrial safety protocols.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills under pressure.
Effective verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration.
Experience with PLCs and ladder logic.
Comfort working at heights, outdoors, and in confined spaces.
Eligibility to obtain and hold a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
Preferred Journeyman or Master Electrician licensure.
