Job Overview
The Service Technician plays a critical role in the success of Restaurant Technologies. The Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining advanced kitchen equipment at client locations throughout the food service industry.
Responsibilities- Install our core products for new customers and provide training and troubleshooting.
- Service, repair, and routine maintenance for existing customers.
- Maintain proper parts and supply levels in service vehicles and complete required paperwork.
- Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets expectations.
- Use iPhone apps for parts, customer notes, and clocking.
- Adhere to internal processes, safety standards (DOT, OSHA, HACCP), 5S, first‑time right, and operational goals.
- Execute night installation work as needed based on demand.
- Minimum: 21 years old, valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a team, problem‑solve installation and service issues, perform basic mechanical/electrical duties.
- Strong customer focus with a positive response to challenging situations.
- Meet Fleet Safety requirements, maintain clean driving record.
- Carry 50 lbs, bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, and reach; climb ladders up to 20 ft.
- Preferred:
Vocational training.
- Base pay: $30.00 per hour.
- Shift differential, overtime, quarterly bonus up to $5,200 per year.
- Shift: Tuesday–Friday, start at 6:00AM.
- Medical (no premium for single coverage or HSA contribution for family coverage), dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
- Tuition reimbursement.
- 401(k) with up to 4.5% matching.
- Paid time off and paid holidays.
- Employee referral bonus up to $3,000 and new customer referral bonus $200.
